What is a Sidecar?

Written by Shane Tracey-O'Connell

A Sidecar is your own solo portfolio on tandym. It gives you access to the same stocks you can invest in with a group, except a Sidecar is funded entirely by you and does not need a group.

On tandym, a portfolio comes in two forms:

  • Group: you invest together with others.

  • Sidecar: you invest on your own.

What a Sidecar gives you

  • Full control to buy and sell on your own without pitching

  • Individual portfolio alongside your groups to invest in stocks you pitch that don't pass.

A Sidecar sits alongside any Groups you are part of, so you can keep investing with your groups and still have a space that is just yours.

Sidecar's are currently in beta and only available on request. Simply start a chat with us and we'll see what we can do.
